For everything that a publisher does, we welcome people who would like to help.
Translators. Editors. Proofreaders. Indexers. Writers. Artists. Photographers. Designers. IT professionals. Production supervisors. Sales managers. Sales reps. Publicists. And more ...
Our paid positions are few. We rely mainly on volunteers. Though for some volunteers we do provide the basic needs, the main rewards for serving in the BBT are spiritual. Our mission is to spread transcendental knowledge, and you're welcome to share in the joy and satisfaction that mission gives.
If you'd like to help in some way, please get in touch with the BBT office nearest you. Or just use our e-mail form to contact us.
To see some specific services that are needed right now, you can check out our notices at Krishna.com/giving-volunteering.
Supporting the BBT
When Srila Prabhupada was physically present, he was very pleased to receive donations for what he called his 'book fund.' Sriman Jayananda Dasa Brahmachari was the first major contributor. George Harrison, the Beatle, was another.
Following Srila Prabhupada's example, we welcome all contributions, big or small. Join our Friends of the BBT program and donate for the BBT's general fund or for a specific project of your choice.
In the United States, your contributions may be tax deductible. Please consult your tax preparer.
Programs for ISKCON's second generation youth
The BBT has a special commitment to training and engaging ISKCON youth in services that pertain to publishing. Every major BBT office in the world has a budget for this purpose, and we actively seek youth involvement.
You may wish to make Krishna conscious publishing your life and soul. Or you might wish to spend some time with the BBT and receive practical training and experience that will be useful for your career.
Either way, to find out more about serving with the BBT, please get in touch with the BBT's Youth Opportunities Office.
Information for libraries and the book trade
The BBT offers standard discounts for libraries and the book trade. For further information, please get in touch with the BBT office nearest you.
